Below is a link to Funke - buy what you can't find from them. All you need is 24+ fox/coyote snares, an outdoor gas grill, big kettle to boil in, some local grass and twigs from the area you plan to trap in and zip lock bags. I will walk you though the prep process and teach you how to set your snares and leg holds. Then look around at your local sports shops and gun shops for trapping supplies and make a mental note of what is available - and then email me. Check your local laws - and get a trapping license. Sounds like these coyotes have already become use to being around humans - that is totally awesome news - and means you skip 90% of the perperations that only long time trappers tend to know. But if you don't mind investing $50 in material and some time - you can have 30 of them trapped and hanging on your wall before the end of February. You could spend the next 10 weekends out every Saturday and Sunday hunting dawn to dusk and only get one or two of them. I am a long time Alaskan hunter and very sucessful trapper. The best way to hunt a coyote is to trap them. I want to get rid of themįor every coyote you see in the day - expect to find 8 or 9 around the same area at night. I never saw them, but the hospital confirmed it, and we found their "den". My puppy just died the other night because some coyotes attacked her.
